Mixed Martial Arts Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) is a full-contact combat sport that allows both striking and grappling, both standing and on the ground, using techniques from other combat sports and martial arts.
Brazilian Jiu-jitsu (BJJ) is a martial art and combat sport system that focuses on grappling and especially ground fighting. BJJ promotes the concept that a smaller, weaker person can successfully defend against a bigger, stronger, heavier assailant by using proper technique, leverage, and most notably, taking the fight to the ground.

We offer classes in Mixed Martial Arts and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) for children and adults in a safe and friendly environment.
Our training methods provide students with effective martial arts skills, fitness development and improved self-confidence.
We run a fulltime, fully equipped and permanently matted academy for use by our members.
Our academy first established in January 2007 and we are affiliated to Checkmat for our BJJ (Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu).
We also cater for corporate and small group training and individual private tuition.
Due to Covid-19 we have followed the Government guidelines since April 2020 resulting in our academy not being open. Moving forward due to continued restrictions we have chosen to temporarily close the business and put all our equipment in safe storage rather than pay rent for premises which we are unable to use. It is our intention to reopen at new premises once there is a clear timeline on restrictions. We will keep you all informed on our progress so that we can continue add to our 12 years of providing a socially conscious business. We will provide the same training disciplines, ethos, methods, and standards.
